What did you love about YA?
I've always loved to work with my hands and body, which I was able to do on a construction site. And being able to see a building progressively get finished and knowing you were apart of it is pretty cool.
How did YA influence your plans after high school?
It taught me that I wanted to try a different trade but also wanted to stay in the construction genre.
What do you want others to know about YA?
If you're not enjoying something your doing, you DON'T have to continue to force yourself to do it everyday. There’s lots of different types of jobs in the trades.
