What did you love about YA?
The YA experience helped me identify what I wanted to do in college and I believe the experience and connections I gained during that program helped me get into the UW-Madison.
How did YA influence your plans after high school?
Graduated from the University of Wisconsin – Madison with a BS in Biology, worked for the Wisconsin State Lab of Hygiene in virology for a little over 2 years before moving to MDH-PHL in the virology lab and then as safety officer for the past 6.5 years. My entire career post-graduation has been in public health. Current position: Laboratory Safety Officer – Minnesota Department of Health Public Health Laboratory
